I never cease to be impressed with the quality of delicious plates that emerge from the kitchen at Jacala, on Meads Bay. Iwas prepared to order their usually excellent caesar salad, when I was told of a special salad today – a crayfish salad……. What an amazingly superb dish. Freshly sauteed, warm Anguillian crayfish, nestled on a bed of thinly sliced Genoa salami, leaf lettuce, arugula, and local tomatoes. Uber yum. A glass of rose, and their devine pot au chocolat rounded out a quite perfect lunch. Thank you Jacques and Alain!

Frank, love Jacala, such an ideal setting. Always our first night dinner and then lunches and dinners throughout our stay. Jacques and Alain are treasured friends and we look forward to seeing them and eating their innovative cuisine.
Thanks for posting.

holy cow, that salad looks amazing! If they had been offering it during my recent visit I would have absolutely ordered it. Too bad I missed my chance!
thanks for keeping us updated on island happenings, even if it does make me quite envious. 😉
