I was really quite honoured this evening, as I was asked to join special friends for a chef’s tasting menu at Zemi Beach Resort, on gorgeous Shoal Bay East. It’s scheduled to open at the end of January, and a few of us got to taste some of the delectable morsels the chef will be serving. I started with a very good Grey Goose and tonic on the beach enjoying the sunset, then moved into the dining area, where we ate under the stars and moon. Started with a fabulous lobster gazpacho, made with tons of delicious cilantro & cucumber, served with a dollop of delicious seasoned chevre. Just got better and better, with the local snapper in an amazingly delicious curry sauce, served with an array of very good veggies, including my favourite eggplant, all nestled on a bed of perfect basmati rice. I wish this project all the best of fabulous luck. What a wonderful addition to Anguilla!
