On her website biography, Elisabeth Piquet describes herself as a “modern nomad”.  Born in Algeria, she’s lived in many places on the globe, and was living in St. Martin, when I first met her, and admired her paintings.  I adore the very painterliness of her paintings.  Exquisite in every way, they now reflect her life on the Britanny coast of France.   We’ll be installing the exhibition on February 26th, and it will hang in the gallery until late March.  As always, to see all the works in this exhibition, go the the “Artists” tab at the top of this page, and click on her name.piq les sentinelles_5.17x17cmJPGpiq Ancrage_1.8x8cmJPGpiq green and stone_4.17x17cmjpg
