Fun Day at East End

Yesterday was the public holiday to honour The Queen’s birthday, and a great village party was held at East End.  The event was a collaborative effort involving the Hope Centre Group, The Morris Vanterpool Primary School and the Cycling Association.  I went in the early afternoon, and the party atmosphere was in full swing (who knew that dominoes was a spectator sport).  Really enjoyed my lunch – stew chicken, roast pork, delicious eggplant and rice and peas, and  my first tastes of casava and plantain!!!!east3east1east2
