Alas, I have been suckered in by two very, very sweet kittens. They were hanging around the back porch of the gallery with their friends the chickens (!!!), and proved to be too sweet to ignore. I have named them Itsy and Bitsy, and they seem to be living up to their names. They’re still too timid to come to me, though be the time you all visit the gallery, they’ll probably be trained to run charge cards through the machine…….
Most astounding is how they still interact with their pals. The cats get first dibs on the kibble I put out, and the chickens and rooster stand to one side and wait their turn. When Itsy and Bitsy lie down post-breakfast, the poultry moves in, and clean out the dish. It’s October and still pretty quiet on Island. I’m happy for the amusement…

Human sacrifice, chickens and cats living together… mass hysteria!
or…
“Do cats eat chickens?” and sometimes “Do chickens eat cats?” for, you see, as she couldn’t answer either question, it didn’t much matter which way she put it.
