Alas, I know. I know. I occasionally overuse the adjective “gems” to describe rather small and rather perfect paintings, but if these two new paintings by Jamaican master Stafford Schliefer aren’t then I don’t know what are! Beautiful new paintings, just into the gallery – a continuation of his iconic “Canecutter” series, and a masterful action painting of “Wall Builders”. Both 11 x 14″.
