Zowie Victor! This mahogany masterpieve dazzles! As you know, Victor Hempel is a devoted environmentalist, and would never dream of cutting down a tree for his sculptures. This beauty, started life as a mahogany tree stump, floating in the sea near Rum Cay, in the Bahamas. Three years later, after much artistic deliberation and mountains of wood dust coating the artist and his boat, “Mahogany Bowl” now graces the gallery’s front desk.
