Along with the two table sculptures by Victor Hempel at the gallery (see my June 28 posting), we’ve also just received in this new work of Victor’s titled simply “Marlin”. It’s made from a gorgeous hunk of mahogany, and the wood is from Rum Cay in the Bahamas. His work is so beautiful and sensual – I can’t resist touching these sculptures when I pass them…..
