This is the first time I attended the Welch’s Village Fest, and it surely will not be the last. I loved the vibe of the afternoon, and got to try some taste treats, some for the first time. There were a huge array of soups available, and I started with the “Yard Fowl Soup”, which was one of the most delicious broths that I’ve ever savoured. Also had a great fried Johnnycake, and topped it off with a tall glass of Mauby, brewed from the mauby tree bark. Great atmosphere, with lots of families having a great afternoon!!
